South Buffalo Cup Saturday 9/26

Sad news: former club member and C Class Champion Rich Klubek recently passed away. Our deepest condolences to his family. He was a nice man.

Today was not the day the South Park GC team was hoping for against the Buffalo Golf Club at Grover Cleveland as BGC "stormed" back in the rain to win the 2020 Cup by a score of 12-6. Only Chris Carroll and Don Dorobiala won their matches today. In good news though, Jason Surdyke recorded a hole in one on the 154 yard par 3 3rd hole at Grover. Great shot Jason!!

The South Park GC leads the Buffalo GC after the first day of the 2020 Challenge Cup by a score of 4-2. Today's competition was 2 man best ball at South Park. Having won the Cup last year SP needs 5 points in tomorrow's 12 singles matches at Grover Cleveland to retain the Cup, 5 1/2 points to win it outright. Good luck and let's keep that Cup another year at South Park.

This weekends Challenge Cup Saturday 8am at South Park we are going to wear our blue SP polo and Sunday 8am at Grover we are going with Sunday red. Please remember do not arrive until 15 minutes before your tee time per Olmsted. Good luck guys, bring the Cup home!!!

Congratulations to Chuck Griesinger on recording an eagle 2 on the par 4 first hole. He holed a 9 iron from 99 yards. He is on the Eagle Board for 2020.

Congratulations to South Park Golf Club member Joe Abram who recently became only the 5th club member to shoot under 30 at South Park when he shot a 6 under 29. Great shooting Joe!
