Congratulations to John Saft for taking a great drop tine deer in South Dakota with Rich Blazeski. John's second year in a row sealing the deal on a good mature whitetail. Great job John on a hard earned deer!!

Congratulations to all the Youth hunters who brought in their trophies this past weekend! Especially, Elizabeth Murphy and her dad Tom. The weather was great. It's heartwarming to see the young hunters out enjoying/beginning the deer hunting heritage! Great Job Elizabeth!!!

We are wishing all the youth hunters Good Luck this weekend!! Columbus Day Weekend , October 8th through the 10th kicks off the Junior Hunter Mentoring Program for youth 14-15 years old. The newest hunters are allowed one deer (buck or doe, DMP required to harvest a doe) and this year they can also take a bear!! A great addition to the weekends hunt. Thanks to NYS DEC , we now all have the opportunity to get an early start on sharing our love of hunting and the outdoors with our children. Any trophy brought into Stagliano Taxidermy by a youth hunter will receive a FREE T-shirt and nameplate for their mount! Please take a child hunting, be safe and enjoy these moments in your life!

Tomorrow starts the first day of the New York State Southern Zone archery season. Good luck to all the hunters going out this weekend. Should be a great year if the early trail cam pictures are any indication.
