To St. Anthony’s Feast Committee, After much thought, discussion and consultation it has become evident that in the best interest and the safety of all our volu...nteers and attendees, that we cancel this years’ St. Anthony's Feast. As you know, we had previously postponed our 51st Annual Feast from its regular June date until September hoping that the Pandemic and restrictions put in place would be over. However, given the current situation that we have and how the Governor is being extremely vigilant over having large crowds and keeping social distancing rules it is very unlikely that a large Feast like ours would be approved by NY State, Nassau County, or the Town of Hempstead. I want to thank you all for all of your hard work in the past and I hope that we will start planning our 2021 Feast soon. We are moving forward with a special St. Anthony’s Raffle and looking into the possibility of hosting a Food Truck Rodeo. We are hoping that through the Raffle and the Food Truck Rodeo we will generate much needed income for St. Anthony’s to help supplement the churches lost funds due to the pandemic. Please continue to stay safe, Tom Thomas Cesiro, III Thomas Cesiro 51st Annual St. Anthony's Feast Chairman
