Ramp metering tips for Hudson Valley travelers: Stop at the white line so the system can detect your vehicle. Vehicles stopped too far before the line or past... the line will not be detected! On two-lane ramps, the vehicle on the left side of the ramp should proceed when the signal on the left side of the ramp turns green. Vehicles in the right lane should proceed when the signal on the right turns green. See more

Town residents are asked not to park any vehicles on public streets in the Town of Stony Point during this time period. Wayne Hose Co. #1 will be having a Santa & Friends Parade this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Unfortunately we will not be passing out candy or stopping for... pictures. We hope to be doing a Facebook live for location updates or just listen for the sirens and airhorns of the firetrucks! If we have inclement weather on Saturday we will move to Sunday, December 20th. Once again, the members of the Stony Point Police Department participated in the 2020 No-Shave November for charity event. Our members raised over $1500 for No-Shave November cancer charities as well as NR Food Pantry and Immaculate Conception Food Pantry.
