It's brunch time! From 9-3 every Saturday and Sunday, we serve a brunch-only menu. This weekend's Chef's Special pancakes are Pumpkin Blueberry! They're served with fresh blueberries, pure maple syrup, cinnamon butter florets, and toasted pumpkin seeds & pecans. Also pictured are our Smashed Fingerling Fried Potatoes with Lemon Aioli. Our current specials up at Strong Hearts On The Hill: The Bacon Jalapeno Popper Burger, The Mulled Apple Cider milkshake, and Garlic Parm wings! All of these will be available for the next few weeks up there. Keep an eye out for some pop-up specials we'll be having here soon too as well as some menu reveals for our Halloween event which begins in one week!

We’ve been back to doing a light breakfast and coffee menu from 8-10 during the week for a little while now. Grab favorites like our ‘Egg’ Truck Muffin, pancakes, and fresh baked muffins, or new additions like fried potatoes, or oatmeal. We’ve officially been open for 3 full months at our new location on E. Fayette Street. It’s been... a lot. We completely revamped our menu, trained an almost entirely new staff, implemented brand new operational procedures, utilized brand new technology to us, and essentially relaunched Strong Hearts as an entirely new business. Where we’ve been for the last 3 months has resembled very little of what we were for our first 12 years. And it’s taken a lot of work to get here. A ...huge Thank You to our entire staff who has totally knocked it out of the park. From our quick, diligent, and dynamic kitchen crew to our friendly and efficient front of house staff, they’ve risen to the challenges we’ve faced and have done an outstanding job of helping us realize our new vision for the business. And they’ve done it all during the fear and uncertainty of a pandemic that has drastically changed the way we’re all living. We’ve got a long way to go but we’re very happy with how our first 3 months have gone so far. And if you’ve come to check out our new digs, we thank you too! Comfortable days on our patio are getting fewer and further between now but there’s probably a few more left! Take advantage of them while you can. State mandate for our area, we’re still operating at 50% of our indoor dining capacity and of course we’re still offering takeout, pickup, and delivery as options as well.

6 years after we first publicly called for the city of Syracuse to take down the statue of Christopher Columbus, the current mayor Ben Walsh is finally, and appropriately, removing the statue. Thank you Mayor Walsh and City of Syracuse - Office of the Mayor for finally having the courage the last administration did not. An even bigger Thank You to the many activists who’ve been protesting and calling for this statue’s removal from our city for decades. This is not erasing history. This is a rightful course correction. We’ve known better for a while so it’s encouraging to see our city finally doing better. We will be open our regular hours tomorrow from 8am-8pm for Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

It’s brunch time! This is our Southwest Tofu Scramble with pan-fried and seasoned tofu, fried chicken, homemade mole sauce, red + green peppers, onions, and grape tomatoes. Served with a side of organic multigrain toast. Another shoutout to the undisputed heavyweight champion of vegan bakeries, Vegan Treats ! They’ve been absolutely crushing it for 20+ years producing the most decadent and delicious vegan desserts imaginable. We’re so impressed and inspired by their consistent commitment to veganism, animal rights, and high quality vegan desserts. If you’re going to be anywhere even remotely close to Bethlehem, PA, you’d be doing yourself a huge disservice if you didn’t make plans to stop there!

It’s a French toast sandwich with turkey, ham, and cheese all pressed together and covered in a mornay cheese sauce. Served with a side of fried potatoes.
