Researchers at the Stuttering Labs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Western Michigan University are looking for adults who stutter to participate in a research survey. This survey aims to understand how adults who stutter think about making a positive change to their stuttering. They would greatly appreciate your input. The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete and needs to be completed in one sitting. If you’re interested in participating, you can... access the survey by clicking on this link: https://unleducation.az1.qualtrics.com//form/SV_5bxjZpD9M2 Upon completion of the survey, you can enter a drawing for one of 100 $25 Amazon gift cards. If you have any questions about this study, please contact Naomi Rodgers at [email protected] or Hope Gerlach at [email protected]. Thanks so much for your consideration!

He definitely switches up his words, and other times he just stutters through it, Dr. Heather Grossman, the executive director at the American Institute for Stuttering, tells me about Biden’s speech patterns. What a lot of people would think is him tripping over a word is the way he stutters. A great article on the lifelong journey of stuttering, with a reminder that stuttering looks different for each and every person. With the first #presidentialdebate2020 happening tonight, we think it's important for people on both sides of the political isle to remember that Joe Biden is, in fact, a person who stutters. He might be completely fluent tonight, he might not. #Stuttering is can be a confusing problem, as it ebbs and flows. Here's a brief article on the topic we published on our Blog about a year ago. https://stutteringtreatment.org/yes-joe-biden-is-a-person-/
