Excursion Director and nature guru Ginny brought in these awesome black swallowtail caterpillars yesterday to show the kids. It was so cool to see them in different stages of metamorphosis. There was a small guy still munching on fennel, then one preparing to form its chrysalis, then another with its chrysalis nearly complete.
