Hey everyone. My wonderful new tenant, Tommy Mims of Off The Beaten Path, not only got vandalized, but terrorized, by the man in the attached photo, because Tommy approached this individual whom he witnessed beating a woman on the sidewalk. I’m so proud of Tommy for stopping his work to protect a stranger. As a new small business, life is tough enough, but to have windows smashed by someone already behaving badly, is uncalled for and hugely expensive. Support these fine bu...siness folks, not only for starting up during a pandemic, but standing up for those that can’t always protect themselves. We need more of this in our neighborhoods. Visit Tommy and his talented wife and co owner, Janelle, to introduce yourselves. Their shop is beautiful and they are so friendly and talented. Show them how many great neighbors that they have! I am so honored to have a small business owner that isn’t afraid to get involved and to protect others. He is a hero in my book. Hi again! My home is for sale. I’m adding photos to my previous post. Here’s a some more, to hopefully get the right buyer into it. I am a Bohemian gal through and through and my home reflects my lifestyle. It’s definitely a long way from the beige dullness, thrown upon us as the new chic in a society that expects conformity, void of character. Less really is less if one does not live their truth, in my opinion. Fearing the judgment of others has never been my strong point. ...My house screams that with a profusion of color, mixing of designs and light. My house is full of sunlight all day and all year long, which makes all of the difference in the city. My house tells a story. I’ve loved being surrounded by the history of my life. My house welcomes people to come in, sit down, enjoy yourself and then to feed me! I’ve added colors, patterns and architectural salvage that I found on my travels over these 25 years.
