It's #TravelTuesday! Today we highlight Detroit Metro Airport (DTW), just one of 24 nonstop destinations offered by our airline partners here at #SYR! In just over 1 hour, you'll be on the ground in the Motor City via Delta Air Lines' multiple daily flights from SYR to DTW.

When we say we're #SYRious About Your Safety, we mean it! Check out the latest investment we have made in our efforts to combat the spread of illnesses such as COVID-19: UV-C Escalator Handrail Sanitizers! These devices constantly disinfect all public escalator handrails at the airport.

We are very excited to share a progress picture from our #SYR Terminal A Exit Hallway Project! Soon, all passengers arriving here in Syracuse will experience a much smoother exit from the airport. Related note: a reminder that passengers arriving on Allegiant, American, Frontier, and JetBlue will experience a short (but well-marked) detour to exit the airport while construction is ongoing on the new Exit Hallway.

Has it been a little while since you last visited our #Syracuse Regional Aviation Museum here at Syracuse Hancock International Airport? We have a new display to help you walk through the airport's history! Check out the new (old) plaques in the southeast corner of the museum next time you get a chance! The museum is located in the center terminal, pre-security, first level (behind the escalators). #History

#MondayMotivation time, also doubling as #MilitaryMonday! Our FBO (Fixed Base Operator) partner Million Air Syracuse hosted a C-17 Globemaster aircraft and crew as part of a static display for the Syracuse University ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) Program Friday afternoon. The crew members from Charleston, SC - consisting of enlisted personnel and officers - were happy to teach, coach and mentor the cadets, discuss the capabilities of the aircraft, and answer questions about their own challenges and experiences of being active duty Air Force! The cadets left inspired and engaged as they plan their own career paths in the Air Force upon graduation from SU!

Don't forget to turn those clocks back one hour tonight as we officially exit Daylight Saving Time and enter Eastern Standard Time! If you do, however, forget to turn the clocks back and arrive too early for your flight, consider checking out our award-winning Syracuse Regional Aviation Museum!
