After being away since this past March, Local 118 was able to hold their first General Membership Meeting courtesy of the Laborer's Local 435. Thank you for those that stopped by. Social distancing and long work hours are putting a dent on any meetings. So attendance is truly appreciated!

Gearing up for first General Membership Meeting!!! COVID 19 STYLE!!!!!

Today the ARC Unit won its first Teamster tentative agreement (TA). The ARC Unit joined Teamsters Local 320 back in May and this will be their first Teamster co...ntract! ARC provides correctional services to five counties of Northeastern Minnesota's Arrowhead region: Carlton, Cook, Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis. ARC was formed in 1976 under the auspices of the Minnesota Community Corrections Act and a joint powers agreement between the participating counties.

For the time being, Local 118 will hold monthly General Membership Meetings at Laborer's Local 435 Union Hall. This location will provide enough space for our members to gather and remain separated per current COVID-19 regulations. Our thanks to Local 435 Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer Dan Kuntz for his help and hospitality!
