Carrying loads of dirty/ clean laundry up and down to the laundry room (weight bearing tasks provide a calming effect) ... 2. Sorting recycling (get a pair of rubber gloves and tongs to increase concentration required) 3. Shredding junk mail (white noise of the shredder...ahhhh) 4. Vacuuming and Swiffering- (offer the option of putting in ear buds and listening to music, you'll be shocked how dual attention on two sources of stimuli will result in a spotless floor) Helpful Hint- Give a specific time limit and a "salary" for a thorough job.
