Tropical Storm Fay has formed off the east coast and the National Weather Service has issued tropical storm and flash flood warnings for Maryland and northward into New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, southeast New York and southern New England. Fay is expected to produce 2 to 4 inches of rain with wind gust over 45 mph. Winds at these speeds can easily turn unsecured objects into projectile and cause both minor and major power outages. We would like to take this opportunity t...o ask you to remind you to be prepared for this weather event. Here are a few tips to aid in preparation for this weather event: Charge your cell phone Stay clear of flooded streets Do not use generators indoors Bring in unsecured objects from patios and balconies and secure outdoor objects such as lawn furniture or garbage cans.
