It is about this time that we would normally be gearing up to host quite a few Holiday parties. Unfortunately 2020 has turned into the worst possible year we could imagine. Having been closed for the better of 9 months, not being allowed to let our customers use pool tables. Although we tried for a few months to operate in limited capacity, it was proving to be too much and not worth opening the doors, so we now head into 2021 in complete shutdown. While we try to keep an op...en and positive mind to open the doors and welcome you all once again, the next few weeks will determine our fate. Please keep our staff in your thoughts as they head into the holidays out of work and missing the opportunity to serve you, which brings great joy to us all! The SPOT will be temporarily closed while awaiting a change in the Governor's and States rules that prohibit the use of pool tables in any establishment. While other locations throughout the State may be allowing this activity, we are choosing to abide by the rules and are working in partnership with a number of other establishments to change the restrictions legally. In the meantime we will be working towards making the space more safe for all guests and staff in regards cov...id-19 and more improvements to provide you the Best Billiards experience in Rockland County as soon as we are allowed! Almost every day we receive calls inquiring about use of the pool tables and unfortunately our answer has been the same for these last few months "we are not allowed to use the tables at this time." Too many times we have had to turn customers away because they came out to try and play some pool. We are currently trying to influence the Governor and State offices that are determining our fate, hoping for some guidelines to be announced soon.

What does the game of pool mean for you? Why is a poolhall important to you? If you could go to your favorite poolroom today and practice/play, would you? If the proper measures for social distancing and covid restrictions were in place, would that change your mind? We need to let the committee making the decisions on poolhalls/billiard parlors reopening in New York know why it is important to the communities and individuals and that we can achieve proper compliance....
