Wartburg honors our healthcare heroes who continue to work tirelessly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. During our 2020 Memorial Weekend, we held a special event saluting Wartburg staff and memorializing the life of Robert Coke. We planted a tree in honor of our staff and presented them with a proclamation from Wartburg's Boards of Directors. #healthcareheroes #Covid19 #salute

Wartburg Provides Memorial Services For Grieving Families While Honoring The Brave Men And Women On The Frontlines https://wartburg.org/wartburg-hosts-three-day-memorial-ser/

Wartburg's Boards of Directors recognizes Wartburg staff for their unwavering commitment and perseverance during the COVID-19 pandemic. This proclamation was presented to each Wartburg staff member during our "Salute to Wartburg Staff" event on Friday, September 11, 2020. The proclamation is being made into a stone plaque that will sit in front of the Robert H. Coke Memorial tree on our campus.

Friday, September 11th: A celebration of the life and service of Robert Coke and a Salute to the Wartburg Staff for their service and loss suffered. Saturday, September 12th: Walk the Meadow, Ribbon Tying and Chapel Time with Prayers of Commendation Sunday, September 13th: Chapel Memorial Service and Blessing of the Wartburg Memorial Tree, Garden, Benches and Bricks
