A message from Robert Harring, Indoor Tournament Coordinator: Hello Everyone, Ti Yogi Bowmen of Hyde Park, NY announces the 2019 Indoor Tournament Schedule.... I've attached the flyers with all the details, but please note the following changes. The tournament names for January and March are the same, but we have swapped the target format to align ourselves with National and State level shoots throughout the winter. Our January shoot is now a 450 Vegas Round, making for a great warmup for the Lancaster Classic and The Vegas Shoot. Our March shoot is now a NFAA 300 Round. This puts us on the same format as other major shoots in late March (Mid Atlantic Sectionals, Indoor NFAA Nationals and NY State Indoor Championships). We are moving our morning line (traditionally 10am) to 9:30am. The support for our indoor tournaments has been fantastic. We are looking to enhance the shooter/spectator experience by giving some more time between the morning line tallying and submitting score cards and the afternoon line shooters coming in to register. Great warriors came from near and far to gather at Ti Yogi Bowmen and make plans on how the attack would go in our defeat of the COVID-19 Zombies. Archery Warriors had come prepared with their bows, arrows and appropriate safety gear. We glided through the forest with cunning mindfulness. We came upon numerous zombies that needed to be taken down for the safety of our land. Outwhitting the Zombies, using our trained eyes and masterful skills, we knew success was in our grasp. With the thwack of one last arrow and the sight of Zombie blood, glowing in the night, we were...VICTORIOUS! After the celebration rang out across the land and many thanks were given to all. Warriors one and all made it back to travel home, knowing to keep an ear to the ground and to always be at the ready. Until we meet again our friends...be well.

So with COVID there are strange things happening all over. But at Ti Yogi Bowmen, in Hyde Park, we've been hearing russelling of leaves, strange noises and even targets being moved! On Saturday night, 10/24/2020, at dusk, there will be a group of Archers going out, around 7 pm, on the lookout for what might be in the woods. If you would like to join The Ti Yogi Crusaders, please come armed with your bows and arrows. If we are fortunate we will be able to find our way i...nto the unknown forest and back. With hand torches, luck and accuracy we can find and demolish the Zombie demons to save our land. Once successful, we will partake in warm cups of brewing goodness and other captivating delights. The only thing other then your warrior gear, you need to bring is $10 for the experienced warriors and $5.00 for the young upcoming warriors. This will go to the crop laid out to entice the creatures of the night. Get ready, dress in your scariest and be prepared to do battle....Remember defeat is not an option, courage always wins out! Hello Archers! One week from today is Ti Yogi Bowmen's, wait for it...The 2nd Annual Oktobowfest for Traditional Archers! What an event it will be! There are 3Ds, Muzzy/Knock a Block, Stump shots and an area for Skill Shots! Along with these great shots will be Vendors! Primitive Treasures - Michael Ciccone MO's Mops & Socks - Melissa Ortiz Oh yeah...your Registration of $20 for Adults and $10 for under 16, gets you the shoot and a brat meal! Alrighty boys, girls and archers alike! Ti Yogi is ready for you tomorrow! The course is set with 34 awesome shooting stations. The weather is going to be cool and comfortable in other words... perfect for a great 3D day! Oh, and the food...well things are a little different this year, but with the help of a Ti Yogi friend, the pork was smoked and Tammy's been working her magic for an amazing pulled pork special! Sunday, that's right, this Sunday, September 20th is Ti Yogi Bowmen's next 3D shoot! Checked the weather and it's going to be a wonderful day to be outside. Registration is 7-11. $20 gets you 34 shooting stations and the lunch special...Pulled pork sandwich with a side and a beverage. Kids 12 and under shoot for free. Only 6 days away! A fun time with family and friends, doing what we love to do....flinging some arrows! We look forward to seeing on the course! We will be and we're asking you all to wear a mask when around the club house, social distance when folks are near and go out in small groups. Hand sanitizers and disinfectant in use. Great day at the Full Draw Archers Family Festival! Thank you to all that came out to Highwoods to shoot the 3D course and tryout some of the trick shots. Ti Yogi Bowmen enjoyed working with the other 5 clubs to do this event for our archery friends. The winner of the drawing is our archery friend, Bob Waller! Congratulations Bob! Hello Archers! We are approaching our next shoot on September 20th, at Ti Yogi Bowmen. Now normally it is our Annual 3D Pig Roast. As we all know, times are not the same. Because we care about our fellow archers, we can not do our normal Pig Roast buffet portion of our event. However, once you are done experiencing our 34 station shoot with great set ups, come on back with your fun stories of how you did and enjoy a pulled pork sandwich with a choice of sides and a drink.... What a wonderful day today! First a heart felt thank you all for attending today's shoot and for following the guidelines. Folks came with masks, used hand sanitizers and managed the appropriate social distancing. With everyone doing their part, we had a great day, as we hope you did as well. Thank you so very much. Our scheduled 3D shoot for May 3rd has been canceled due to the coronavirus! We are hopeful that the June 7th shoot will be on! Stay tuned & stay safe!

We had to check on all our animals and they are safe. We had to give Stanley some extra help...do not worry he's safe now.

So Scott and I practiced Social Distancing today on the course. It was great to be out. Shot newly made flu flus. We saw two Snappers in the swamp. Shot well, heard the Peepers and ended our day seeing a painted box turtle baby. Oh and did I say....I FINALLY made the 100 yarder with a recurve...my Black Hunter!!!!!! Ya might of wondered what that sound was in the distance... it was me hooting and hollering in excitement! A shinning moment during this crazy time.

Northern Dutchess Rod and Gun Club has cancelled March 29 3D Shoot.

Hello fellow archers. It is with saddened hearts but with knowledge we are doing the right thing, we are cancelling our April 5th 3D shoot. We will reevaluate... each shoot as we approach them and post the decision. Every event we do, we do for you all. We will miss not only seeing you, but shooting with you and Tammy says feeding you. Well, had to cancel the Indoor Tournament, but Brian wanted to be ready (lol) as a few Ti Yogi folks heading out 3Ding at Highwoods. Supporting other local clubs...outside!

Ti Yogi was saddened to have to cancel this weekend's event. But we must keep everyone safe. Do not fear...Tam's Ti Yogi Meatballs are tucked away in our freezer and ready for our next event! ATTENTION ALL MID HUDSON INDOOR TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS this weekend's tournament has to be cancelled. Dutchess County is now in a STATE OF EMERGENCY, effective now 3/13, per County Executive Molinaro. Please know we are trying to reach out to all that have registered. Wow wow wow wow wow!!!!!! So I've been shooting for 7 years (after a 40+ year break), unbelievable! Seems like a heart beat. Oh the changes...personally, the... bowssss, the other equipment, styles, missing the targets to hitting them. Feeling unsure to try the indoor tournaments to always wanting to do them. A little nervous to do 3D...to ABSOLUTELY loving 3D. Making so many awesome friends through this amazing sport. Niner from Ti Yogi's property, that Scott got on 11/3/19, with his traditional bow, came home tonight, Scott's way excited! (Side note, Scott made the plaque for him.)

Tonight was a members Dart Night. Shootin' dart board targets with bows. Some shot compounds and some shot traditional, all for fun. Shoot #1, move to #2, until you get #20. Then you needed to hit the red center. Soooo many laughs. Then we snacked and laughed some more. Fun night...Thanks Mike, Mike, Mike for a great idea!

Couple of us Ti Yogi folks made our way out to Whortlekill for some indoor 3D shooting. Great time! Great set ups! Great job George and crew! As Arnold would say, "We'll be back"!

Well the 2020 Vegas Shoot at Ti Yogi Bowmen is in the books! We added an additional day and a kids line on Sunday. All went well, folks had a great time and the additions were a welcome change. What a great night! First night of the Winter League has started off really awesome! Thursday night begins tomorrow. No matter what bow is in your hand, Compound or Traditional, there's room for you to shoot! Pick the night that works for you! This week and next are practice, then we have 10 weeks of scoring. Hello Everyone! Dropping a quick note...Winter league is starting Wednesday, January 8 and Thursday, January 9th. You pick the day that works for you! Practice starts at 6:30, scoring starts at 7 pm. $30 for members, $75 for nonmembers. 2 weeks of practice and 10 weeks of scoring. What a great way to get together with your fellow archers, hone your skills and have fun with folks who love this wonderful sport of archery!

Calling all archers! Our 2 Indoor tournaments are are set with additional dates and lines. We, at Ti Yogi Bowmen, want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to shoot, so we have added a Saturday line and included an additional line for cubs only, on Sunday. Thank you to our Zombie Slayers. Here are a few of them. Thank you to everyone that came out tonight!

Once again Hyde Park has Ti Yogi Bowmen Zombie Slayers to thank for making our community safe for all. We searched high and low for the bravest archers. They came from as far as 2 1/2 hours to protect us. There were sounds coming from the woods that have never before been heard. Lighted nocks flew through the air and one by one the Zombies met their demise. With all archers accounted for, we raised our cider cups and put pumpkin dip in our bellies to celebrate our success and the knowledge that the town folk can rest easy once again.

By tommorow we have heard that the Zombies will have reached Hyde Park and the Ti Yogi Bowmen property. We need all Zombie hunters to be prepared with their archery equipment on and ready to go out into the fields by 7 pm. We must stay in groups where we can watch out for the Zombies as they pop out looking to get even just one of us. Bring flashlights or head lamps to watch our footing and if you have luminocks, bring them and watch them as they fly into the bellies of ...our if much intended targets. Legend has it, that that no Zombie will show itself at more then 20 yards and they enjoy, what they feel, is the safety of the bale houses. Once the last Zombie has been put to rest, you can come back to the club house and taste our tasty treats that you have well deserved. Remember, come and be ready to take down the Zombies by 7pm.
