BURGLARY / Request for Public Assistance On 11/19/2020 the Town of Manlius Police responded to a Burglary investigation in the 5100 Blk. Of Macclenthen Rd. where homeowners reported that unknown suspect(s) entered their residence utilizing a ladder they had stored in their back yard accessing a 2nd story window. Suspect(s) stole a significant amount of valuables from within their residence, several of which were sentimental family heirlooms. This burglary occurred in daylig...ht hours between 1:00pm and 4:00 pm in the afternoon. If the public has any information, accounts of suspicious persons or vehicles in that area/timeframe, or any information on the identity of suspects(s) in this matter please contact TMPD Special Investigations Section / Inv. If you have any surveillance cameras on your residence and would like to share footage of the roadway to determine suspect vehicle(s) please contact 315-682-2212 with that information as well.

Custodial Worker Immediate Job Vacancy The Town of Manlius Police Department currently has a vacancy for a part time custodial worker. The selected candidate will work twelve to twenty hours per week, Monday - Friday, and will be completing custodial work in the police department building. Starting pay will be $12.50 to $15 per hour depending on work experience. Candidates must have a clean criminal record and be able to pass a background investigation. Due to building construction the front office of the Town of Manlius Police Department will be closed today so if you will require police services you will need to contact 911. Starting tomorrow the front office staff and other members will be working out of a construction trailer located to the left, or south, of our main entrance. You will still be able to receive service from a staff member at that location until construction is complete within 6 to 8 weeks. Thank you for your understanding.
