Takes daily stress and anxiety, compresses it into a little ball that I can fling away. No more procrastinating, no one hears me complaining anymore, and it’s like drinking a pot of coffee without having to deal with the caffeine headaches!! Honestly wish I came across TM years ago. The photos he [Paul Saltzman] took during that week of meditation are remarkable. Forgotten about for 30 years, then rescued from storage in the late 90s they show John, Paul, George and Ringo hanging with fellow ashram guests Donovan, Mike Love of the Beach Boys, jazz flautist Paul Horn, Mia Farrow and her sister Prudence, in an unguarded and utterly relaxed state, rehearsing new songs or just gazing contentedly into the middle distance. Paul Saltzman’s documentary ‘The Beatles and India’ offers intriguing and humorous insights on how the Beatles’ escaped to study transcendental meditation. The technique of Transcendental Meditation comes from an ancient tradition that is thousands of years old. However the knowledge of this meditation technique became distorted over time and was lost from public view and common practice. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi revived the technique, in its purity, in the late 1950s. He named it Transcendental Meditation and personally taught it all over India. Eventually, he came to the US to teach the technique and founded our non-profit organi...zation. He also created our TM teacher training process, with the goal of bringing this knowledge to the world, while also maintaining the purity of the teaching so that it may never become lost as it once was. Many of our TM centers are open and following all government safety regulations and CDC recommendations. Part of how life is designed is to never let you settle for anything that is less than infinity. So this is why you’ll never be satisfied in the outer value; you’ll always feel you’re missing something. There will always be something you want... and you might not even know what it is, but you don’t get it. Does it mean life has to be continued in feeling always less and not so fulfilled? No. It’s just changing the direction for us. We were looking for more outside, outside, outside. Now we change the direction and we look inside.
