We've had a LOT of customers asking for ladybugs lately. Aphids must be bad this season! We just received another shipment of these ladies to help you keep your infestations of aphids or other problem bugs under control. Purchase online for curbside pickup or grab some when you come visit the yard. https://urbanroots.org/product/ladybugs/
Meet Renata! She's an East Side Garden Walk gardener this year would have been her first year on the tour! She's living in the house she spent part of her you...th in - so it's a new (old!) garden to her. Watch for her hanging succulent gardens, art collections, vegetable garden - and hear tell of the challenges having seasonal flooding in her back yard. For more on the East Side Garden Walk, visit EastSideGardenWalk.com. To meet Amanda in her amazing rose garden featured last week, visit https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?v=307292983736295&ref=watch_permalink See more
It's "Gardens in Plain View" Sunday! We've just added two more front yard walking tours to the collection Iron Island and Allentown. These are for enjoying fr...ont yard gardens in some of Buffalo's most interesting neighborhoods - anytime, any day by walking, bike, or car. There are maps with suggested routes, neighborhood descriptions, significant sites, and a front yard native plant scavenger hunt and coloring contest for kids. Find the maps, along with last week's maps, Parkside & Central Park, and the Cottage District, here: https://www.gardensbuffaloniagara.com/garden-views See more
FREE veggie seedlings! We have some vegetable plants, including heirloom tomatoes, that are desperate to get into the ground. Free while supplies last.

All you need in your garden is: 1) Water 2) Shelter 3) Food 4) A place to raise young 5) Sustainable practices See what the Alliance has done already, and how you can do it too. For certification, visit nwf.org/Garden-for-Wildlife/Certify. For more information on the Alliance, visit BRRAlliance.org. Every Saturday in July, GBN will add another video with a partner green organization. For a complete schedule of events, visit BuffaloGardenViews.com.
