We have new display up! Blind Date with a Book is a fun reading experience for those who like to be surprised! Each of these wrapped books is looking for a reader. But like a box of chocolate, you don't know what you're gonna get until you open it up! Browse through the selection, pick a book with a good pick up line or genre that fits your type.

We've got great things planned for 2021! More information is coming soon regarding regularly scheduled programs like our book clubs, art classes, and gardening club! Also be on the look out for virtual trivia and virtual escape room!

We have decided to give those who participated in the Winter BINGO Game one extra day to get your boards in! Return your boards to the Youth Services Department by 8 p.m. tonight to receive a small prize and to enter in to win one of the larger prizes. After today, boards may still be returned for a small prize while supplies last; however, the drawing for the larger prizes will close tonight. Winners of the larger prizes will be drawn and contacted tomorrow.

Congratulations to Ashley for making the closest guess at the number of books in the Book Tree! This year's tree had 381 books in it! Thank you to all who participated!

You can begin returning your Winter Reading BINGO Game boards today! Patrons ages 0-18 may return their completed game boards at the Youth Services Desk through January 22 for a small prize and chances to win larger prize bundles. We have also decided to extend the pick up of Winter Reading BINGO Game boards through Friday, January 8! Stop by the Youth Services Desk this week to pick up your game board if you have not done so already!

We are starting a YA Book Club for Not-So-Young Adults! The Young Adult genre has so much to offer and we want to showcase it to those who might not be classified as Young Adults anymore. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, February 9 at 6:30 to discuss Brigid Kemmerer's "A Curse So Dark and Lonely." Young adults are also welcome to join to share their perspective with older generations. This program will be offered in person or virtually depending on your comfort level. To sign up, stop by the Reference Desk, call the library, or email [email protected].
