We've really been enjoying hosting meditation and breathwork sessions for our parents and adults to help stay grounded and mentally healthy in this challenging time. It's a little oasis of peace in the middle of the craziness. :) We're committed to staying healthy in mind, body, and spirit.

Last night our students were very fortunate to take a digital class from Master Dan Bernardo from South Carolina. Master Bernardo is a teachers’ teacher, and shared some awesome knowledge on power generation and how to hit with the whole body. Digital classes have opened up many opportunities and connections that we didn’t even see before. It’s been powerful evidence of the strength of community, and the power of connection, no matter the distance. There’s opportunity i...n every challenge for those willing to look for it. Thank you for joining us Master Dan Bernardo, we cant wait to train with you again soon!

This weekend our students got to participate in an awesome Eskrima seminar with our good friend Master Mike Pannulla from the Philadelphia area! While we miss seeing everyone in person, digital training has opened up a LOT of really amazing training opportunities! Thanks Master Pannulla!
Another great night of digital classes last night, over 50 students joined in and got happy and sweaty with us! It’s really awesome to be able to stay connected and learning together! Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight!
Last night was our first night of interactive online classes, and our families LOVED it! During quarantine, kids need activity, structure, and normalcy as much as possible to stay growing and engaged, and we’ve worked incredibly hard over the past week and a half leading up to closing to film our entire curriculum and post it into our app, develop challenges, games, and drills that kids can do with their families, and provide an interactive, digital class where students can... interact with instructors and continue to learn and be challenged. We have also partnered with other martial arts schools around the country to share training and resources, and will also be bringing together other innovative businesses and leaders who will share resources, information, and activities with our families to keep them healthy and growing during this challenging time. The purpose of martial arts is to enhance all aspects of our lives, and the silver lining of this situation is that it gives us all space to focus on our own growth, and strengthen family bonds. Our goal is to provide holistic training to our community using the power of technology to enhance not only martial arts training, but also physical and mental health, and personal development. With every great challenge comes a great opportunity, and we want to use this time to strengthen our community, to strengthen ourselves, and to focus on the things that truly matter in life. We’re all on this journey together, and we want to come out not only having survived, but having grown stronger. We are so appreciative to our community that continues to inspire us, and we are prouder than ever to be surrounded by such excellent people.

So very true! Traditional martial arts have been badly polluted with quackery, contrivance, and some plain lies. The best way to see through the haze is to simply look to what works, and what makes us better and more whole, both as people and as martial artists.

We had an AWESOME time with the kiddos our free Valentine’s Day parents night out while the parents had their own awesome valentine’s evening! Nerf war, pizza dinner and valentine’s card making! Can’t wait for the next one.
