Last night of the Carnival and FIREWORKS at 10pm!
See y'all soon! Have fun!
Can't believe that tomorrow is day 4.... With all of the planning and the rollercoaster ride called Pandemic.... We pulled it off... And it was worth every minute! Thank you to all who kept the faith... It was amazing!
Saturday night is going to be awesome. Can't wait to see everybody. Carnival opens tonight at 6:00 p.m. and runs until Saturday night with fireworks at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday.
With the impending snowstorm coming please keep in mind to keep your local fire hydrants clear. Fire hydrants are detrimental to fire suppression, Hydrants that are not clear take time to locate in a emergency and waist valuable minutes to dig out. Help us help you by creating a path to the hydrant and a 3ft perimeter around it!

Here are some Safety tips so you and your family can have a Safe and Happy Halloween! https://www.nfpa.org//Fire-/Seasonal-fire-causes/Halloween
Last night, Members of the Warwick Fire department responded, to 44 Linden Ave, Greenwood Lake, under the mutual aid agreement with Orange County, to a 2nd alarm structure fire in the Greenwood Lake Fire District. The Warwick Fire Department FAST responded within minutes of being dispatched. Upon arrival, the Fast crew split up to have a full 360 of the building. About 10 minutes into the operation the FAST was put to work as a truck company. The Crew began to open up wall...s and ceilings for fire pockets as well as vent the roof with the men and women from Greenwood Lake Fire Department. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time. Anyone wishing to help the family, donations will be accepted at the Greenwood Lake Elks Lodge No. 2067, or to their friend Sandy at 43 Oak St in Greenwood lake - Items needed are gift cards and other household items - they rented at this location and they lost everything.

Although we push fire prevention 24/7 365, this past week was Fire Prevention week. As such our team was out and about. Even though it was smaller and changes made due to COVID-19, our team still made it a priority to safely education children and parents on fire safety. It was also a busy ending to fire prevention week with our members answering 12 calls though out the week, 4 of which were Friday.
Wishing our Department President, Melissa Stevens, a very Happy Birthday! Have an amazing day! For her birthday, she is supporting Ronald McDonald House - Hudson Valley https://www.rmhc.org/
October 1st, Warwick Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Pine Island Turnpike near Sanfordville Road. Upon arrival, a pickup truck and a passenger car were involved. No serious injury was reported. Thank you to the volunteers who responded. Thank you Warwick EMS and Warwick PD.
On September 28th, Warwick Fire Department held the Department Monthly Drill at Wickham Woodlands. The Department was called for a simulated structure fire, smoke showing. Upon arrival, it was determined to be a basement fire. Mutual aid was called. A victim was rescued. The source was found and extinguished. Training on all different types of scenarios is critical to develop and maintain the skills necessary to do this job safely. Thank you to the volunteers who attended. Thank you Florida Fire Department for attending with your Tanker.
