So you never know what will happen at the club. At noon today, we had a baby gender reveal. The family glued two clay pigeons together with colored chalk dust on them. There were pink and blue then the big balloon full of blue confetti. Congrats guys!!
Another Eagle Scout project completed here at the rifle range. The project started as a handicap ramp, but compliance would have interfered with the pistol range. The project shifted to new stairs and the work is now completed. No more 2' high steps. Enjoy them and please help maintain them. Be safe!
Quite a change from our August post and the low water. Cold day , but sunny and we did a little trap shooting.
On my way to the club shortly. Will be open to sell memberships and maybe shooting some trap & skeet. It's a beautiful day. Go out and enjoy it.
At the October meeting of the Watertown Sportsman, Inc, the members present voted to endorse the following candidates up for election on Novemer 3: US PRESIDENT/VP: President Donald J. Trump/Mike Pence US HOUSE REP: Elise Stefanik NY DISTRICT 116: Assemblyman Mark Walczyk As gun owners, we truly need to support and vote for these candidates who have a proven track record of supporting our 2nd Amendment rights. Well it rained just as we went to the line, so we all got wet! Everybody packed up and went home and it's beautiful now. Calling it a night. Stay dry ...stay safe. New memberships will be available at our usual distributors on Thursday.
There's a 50-60% chance of rain tomorrow but we will be there for trap & skeet. Trap is fixed...it was just a switch. There's a 50-60% chance of rain tomorrow but we will be there for trap & skeet. Trap is fixed...it was just a switch.

Hey, work continues on the Ken Blake Memorial trap fields. Chief engineer Bill Hunt will be up there around noon and he's looking for some stone throwers to help with the finishing work. So any friends, family or Irishmen from Tipp Hill Syracuse want to get some exercise and a free beverage, grab a bucket and clear some rocks WE THANK YOU! Trap and Skeet opens at 4 and I'll be there till 7 shooting and selling memberships. Next year's memberships coming out soon.
Trap fields are graded and raked. If you are looking for some exercise, we need some stone pickers. There's a lot of little rocks that need to be picked up so they don't kill the mower. Plans are at the surveyor's then the houses can go in. Wohoo!!! Thank you Bill Hunt for supervising the ground work and for bringing up his machine to help with the rock picking.
