The friendly and caring Admitting Team at WPH goes the extra mile to help make our patients’ experience with us exceptional, whether they come to our Hospital for a test, surgery or procedure, or to go to Labor & Delivery. These professionals generate and protect our patients’ medical information, coordinate all coverage with insurance companies, handle billing and payments, and much more. White Plains Hospital’s 130-member Environmental Services (EVS) Team puts pride and passion into everything they do. They are truly the first line of defense in patient safety, from making sure patients have clean and comfortable beds, to supplying clinicians with COVID scrubs and isolation gowns, to deep cleaning and disinfecting every corner of our Hospital. Over the past few months, our UV Techs have ramped up the use of our Xenex Ultraviolet Disinfecting Robot and this year they have disinfected more than 18,000 areas within the Hospital, which according to Xenex represents the highest use per machine in the country!
