*UPDATE* We wanted to put out a bit of an update of where we are at in the restoration process. We have had a fire restoration company here cleaning up all the damage from the fire and prepping for the rebuild to start. We are looking at another week or two of building clean up, and then rebuild should begin thereafter. ... Thankfully, ServiceMaster worked hard to get us access to our Kids Church room again so youth and kids church are back to meeting in their normal room beginning this weekend. The rest of the wing is still off limits so please help us by honoring the signage and not accessing parts of the building that are marked off limits. Sunday service times have changed to one service at 10am so that we are not under the tent during the hotter part of the day. Please help us by bringing your own outdoor/camping chair as we only have seating for 110. Thank you for all your drink and snack donations for the crew who are working so hard to get our building cleaned up. Those donations are truly appreciated, especially on these extra hot days.

DAY 7 of #7Words7Days THE SHOUT OF PRAISE SHABACH: To address in a loud tone. To shout. To commend, glory and triumph.... THIS IS YOUR VICTORY PRAISE... Psalms 145:4 says; One generation shall praise (shabach) Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts. In other words: one generation shall shout your works to the next generation and declare the Lord's mighty acts. This isn't just a personal declaration for God calls all nations to lift up a HOLY ROAR! Even in the dry places of David's life he had resolved to live out his life by lifting up shouts of praise to God. When you find yourself in dry places do you find yourself resolving to Shabach praise or do you simply sit and wallow in it simply waiting to die? when you find yourself in a spiritual dry season of life practice the act of Shabach praise. DAY 6: #7Words7Days One of my favorites! The Songs of Praise Tehillah, teh-hil-law Laudation. A hymn. A song of praise. A new song. A spontaneous song.... Psalm 22:3; But You are holy, Enthroned (in the midst of Your peoples songs of praise) in the praises (telhillah) of Israel. In other words when His people sing songs of praise He shows up, He is drawn to it and sits in the midst of those praises. Charles Spurgeon once said that "Praise is the rehearsal of our eternal song. By grace we learn to sing, and in glory we continue to sing." Let me ask you a question: have you ever had an overwhelming feeling of what the Lord has done in your life and the thing He is currently working on? In the midst of that have you just began to sing a spontaneous song to the Lord? If you haven't, consider your story, the ways God is at work in it and lift a spontaneous song to Him. Yes, I know, this feels extremely awkward and thats alright. you dont have to rhyme the words or even have the most amazing voice. Take the time to practice a spontaneous song of praise to the Lord. when you do He will show up in your midst because of your (tehillah) praise. CONT. It’s DAY 4 #7Words7Days. Come on!! THE EXPECTATION OF PRAISE TOWDAH: An extension of the hand. Thanksgiving. A confession. A sacrifice of praise. Thanksgiving for things not yet received. A choir of worshippers.... Psalm 56:11-12 The expectation of praise can be seen as a praise of faith. Like the song says, even when I can’t see it you are working therefore, in spite of what we see we will not allow it to dictate our praise for we will praise the Lord with thanksgiving, by faith. This is truly a sacrifice of praise. A. W. Tozer once said: True worship that is pleasing to God creates within the human heart a spirit of expectation and insatiable longing. CONT. When it came to the Israelites and the tabernacle, the place where God and His glory dwelt the Israelites were unstoppable. The only way to beat them was to drive God out of the camp. The only way to do that was to corrupt their worship. Therefore, the enemies of Israel did exactly that. That is what the enemy of our God is continuing to do today. Recognize the enemies tactics for they haven’t changed since the Garden of Eden. Don’t allow him to steal your worship and corrupt it through idols or other things becoming a bigger priority than He is in your life. Just like the tabernacle which was built, not by accident, in the middle of all the tribes let’s continue to make God the center of our lives.
