Yorktown Grange Fair

Due to our concern for the health and safety of our visitors, our volunteers and our vendors, we have made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel the 2020 Yorktown Grange Fair. The Virtual Grange Fair is currently going strong. Send in videos and photos of your art, livestock, Legos, veggies and cakes. Galleries are available on the Grange Fair website for everyone to enjoy. Competitions include: Baking, Entertainment, Legos, Gardening, Livestock, Needlework, Phot...ography, Pet Costume Contest, Rabbit Costume Contest and Woodworking. While a Virtual Fair isn’t quite the same as holding an in-person fair, we hope that you will enjoy participating in the virtual contests! The theme of the 96th annual Yorktown Grange Fair is Still Going Strong! a tribute to the strength and resilience of our community during an unprecedented and stressful time. And we are living up to that promise, by working hard to bring a safe, fun event to our community on Saturday, September 12. The options being considered include a Drive-Thru Fair. The details are still being worked out, but a display of livestock and exhibits pulled together from Virtual Fair participants is a possibility. We will keep you posted! Keep in mind, that while the Fair is cancelled, community spirit is still very much up and running. The Grange Fair is going to continue to find ways to bolster that spirit in any way possible. Today is the day! Holiday Lights REVERSE Parade is at FDR Park starting at 5pm! Come by and see nearly 30 creative floats to kickoff the holiday season. We've also confirmed a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus PS - This is a FREE event!
