Happy New Year from the YW-NYC!

At PS 188, the YW-NYC distributed toys to students thanks to donations from community leaders: Officer Travis Warfield and Mr. Tasheen Knight. Smiles were hidden behind masks, but the joy was apparent. The YW is glad we could help Santa this holiday season!

There are no limits to what women can do as Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett showed us. Dr. Corbett is a fundemental member of the development team responsible for the Moderna vaccine. Women like Dr. Corbett show the young women and girls of the YW-NYC that there are no restrictions on who they can be!

The students of the YW-NYC created cards for elderly members and COVID positive members of the community. We are inspired by the love and sense of community shown by our students, and wish everyone a safe, happy and healthy holiday season. #YWCANYC #HappyHolidays
