More than any other sport, baseball appreciation is passed from generation to generation, especially from father to son. From teaching a child to break in a glove to taking them to their first game to sharing their Little League successes, baseball forms the lifelong bonds that shape relationships between parent and child. In Glove Story: Fathers, Sons and the American Pastime,Mark Rosenman and A. J. Carter explore how those ties lead to lifelong memories and passed down careers. Join us Thursday, March 19 at 7pm at our local author night

Join us on Thursday, March 19 at 7pm for our Local Author Night. Debra E. Blaine, MD, has practiced medicine for thirty years on Long Island and is also a Certified Professional Coach. Her first novel, CODE BLUE: The Other End of the Stethoscope, is a fast-paced medical thriller about Russian hackers stealing medical information to extort and then murder patients. The story is set in a true-to-life corporate urgent care center, and vividly illustrates the challenges today's physicians face as they are admonished to prioritize commercial profit over their patients' health.
