As a precautionary measure we are canceling our Local Author Night on Thursday. We will re-schedule later in the year.
More than any other sport, baseball appreciation is passed from generation to generation, especially from father to son. From teaching a child to break in a glove to taking them to their first game to sharing their Little League successes, baseball forms the lifelong bonds that shape relationships between parent and child. In Glove Story: Fathers, Sons and the American Pastime,Mark Rosenman and A. J. Carter explore how those ties lead to lifelong memories and passed down careers. Join us Thursday, March 19 at 7pm at our local author night
Matthew J. Seery is the author of two novels, Caste American and The Record Prophets, and has been a high school English teacher since 2006. He earned his B.A. in English from SUNY Albany in 2004 and his MS in Secondary Education from Dowling College in 2007. He resides in a small town on the South Shore of Long Island with his beautiful wife and two sons. He'll be joining us on Thursday March 19 at 7pm at our Local Authors Night.
Join us on March 19 at 7pm for our Local Author Night. Portia Ingram is an advocate, writer, and creator, whose diverse experience has drawn her to write two self-help books. A self-described non-traditionalist, Portia knows there’s no right way to navigate your 20s- the most transformational years of your life. Her guide is refreshingly positive and full of wisdom, complete with workbook exercises and empowering affirmations
Join us on Thursday, March 19 at 7pm for our Local Author Night. Debra E. Blaine, MD, has practiced medicine for thirty years on Long Island and is also a Certified Professional Coach. Her first novel, CODE BLUE: The Other End of the Stethoscope, is a fast-paced medical thriller about Russian hackers stealing medical information to extort and then murder patients. The story is set in a true-to-life corporate urgent care center, and vividly illustrates the challenges today's physicians face as they are admonished to prioritize commercial profit over their patients' health.
