We had a great turn out A special thank you to all that helped make this a fun, safe event: Phil Herrington and the Town of Brunswick Our local fire departments - Eagle Mills, Center Brunswick, Mountain View, Speigletown, Raymertown, and Pittstown... Our Brunswick Blitz travel teams - 18u Brundige, 18u Jones, 14u Castiglione, 10u Hansen, and 8u Kruger Rensselaer County 4-H Engel's Acres for the cider and donuts

Just a quick reminder we will be hosting FireTruck-o-Treat tomorrow at the Brunswick Girls Softball fields on Route 2. COVID precautions will be in place, please help us make this a safe and successful event. Masks will be required and we ask that your group remain together while moving through the event and that you promptly exit the facility after visiting each table.

Tomorrow, Oct 27th, is our last 10 and under sandlot game. With it getting darker and colder, we are aiming for a 5:15pm start. We will be watching the weather closely. If we need to cancel, we will post here by 4pm. Also, please don't forget that the League, along with the local Fire Departments, will be holding a Fire Truck - or - Treat on Saturday, the 31st, from 12noon to 3pm at our fields. All are welcome and mask must be worn by all attending.

Brunswick Softball would like to congratulate the 14u Brusnwick Blitz on a very succesful Fall season. The Blitz played in 4 tournaments and placed in the top 3 in all 4 tournaments. This weekend was the pinnacle of their Fall season. The 14u Blitz played 5 games this weekend in some "balmy tempartures" and came home the Champion of the Queen on the Hill tournament! During the tournament the Blitz only allowed 13 runs over 5 games while scoring 55. Congratulations to both the players and coaches. Your hard work and dedication payed off!

Weather looks great for tonight's 10 and under sandlot game. Start time is 6pm on Field 1. We hope to see you there.

This weekend the Brunswick 14u Blitz and 8 other teams from around the Capital Region played a lot of softball. The Blitz hosted the Saratoga Smash, Adirondack Force, Guilderland Bandits, Miss Scotties Storm, Miss Shen Legends, Lady Reds, Renegade Softball, and the Niskayuna Warriors. Not only did these althletes play softball but they also showed their support for those who battled, continue to battle, and will battle against breats cancer, by wearing pink this weekend. On ...Sunday the teams battled some cold weather during the elimantion day. At the end of the day it was the Brunswick Blitz and the Adirondack Force in a nail bitter of a championship. The game tallied up 17 hits, and no errors with the Force taking home the win in the 7th 3-2. Congratulation to the Force for a great weekend. The Miss Scotties Storm also played strong this weekend and took home 3rd place. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth See more
