We’ve been tiling a lot lately. Almost wrapped this beautiful transformation up today. We need to install the doors (we were painting them) and the outlet covers and then we can hand the bathroom back off to the clients. What a transformation. Really a 180, and yea, welcome to the 21st century!
Are we allowed to post this here? #lifegoals
Miss us? It’s snowed a little!! A little more and we’d be out full force but we are still here :)
Well well. What got in and termites came! We cleaned up the damaged wood and replaced it. Not bad for a days work.
This kitchen transformation was 2 months in the making. The counters were put in by Stoneworks designed at Home Depot by the one and only Pamela Jansen. Literally the best designer in our opinion. We did the tile backsplash, new outlets, installed the sink basins and microwave. What a 180! It looks like a brand new kitchen.
To our neighbors and friends! South Troy is getting some additional cleanup. Be aware to park accordingly.
Pedro is getting it done today! If you need piles moved $120/hr and We can send our operator and dingo over !
We frequently send our customers to Troys Landscape Supply Co to get their plants. They have a great selection and are dynamic. It’s nice when your company values align with your vendors. It seems everyone is working towards the same goal. Kudos to them! https://www.google.com//local-landscaping-company-giv/amp/
Well that went sideways quick. A 12 inch storm turned to 24. Our crews are beat. We met our contractual obligations. Man o man. Thankful for our customers who were patient and bunkered in while they waited. Thankful to our crews who worked too many hours to count. If you need anything, we are back on Monday. God bless!
We placed some concrete today. Love it when it comes together like this!
Fun story with this patio. It is simple back yard patio that our customers tried to build first. After a week of back breaking work trying to level the pavers, they called us. We convinced them to let us use professional grade Techo-bloc blu 60 in shale grey. They ripped up all their old (Home Depot) pavers with the intent to sell them. When they couldn’t sell them, we offered to build a sitting wall with them instead. Turned out amazing!
It’s a beautiful fall day. Nice to see all these leaves changing. We replaced the top six blocks of this chimney. The view from the lift in the roof is so pretty with the changing leaves
Hate to bombard you with masonry pictures, but fall is that season! We ran this hood range wire through the dead chimney and into the basement. The chimney is capped at the top with a flagstone. The carpenters wanted to run the wire around the chimney, but we like this better. Then we filled the missing brick with a close match and it’s ready to paint!
We are anti wire mesh advocates. This chimney had some mesh holding the pretty parging veneer. After we pulled it down, it had structural failure behind it! All good now, but we would rather the work fail and know you have a structural issue than to have it look nice while it’s degrading behind the parging.
We poured half of a driveway today. The next half is going in later. Looking forward to the completion of this project!
Well this is a fun Stoop repair. The original construction of this 1992 home had pitched The step so the water went into the footing of the step instead of shedding over the top. Upon consultation we noticed that the step was pitched improperly. When we open it up we noticed that it was completely full of water! According to our calculations we pumped out 2000 gallons of water!!!
Did a chimney at one customers house and replaced a couple cinder blocks on a foundation. It’s masonry season! Customers rush to get these repairs in every fall!
Today we had little free time... so we went over to Prospect park by the Uncle Sam gazebo and decided to give the city a hand with clean up.... helping the community keep this park beautiful for us and others so we can all enjoy Troy's amazing look out. Huge thanks to our customers that make it so we can give back. Without them we couldn't do this. #EnjoyTroy
Here is a fun project. A basement entrance. Waiting on the bilco door since everything is back ordered. Shout out to Clearwater Plumbing 518 for digging us out while they replaced the sewer line.
Pulling off this wall and sidewalk job. Had to wait 2 weeks for caps but we love the double sided pitched cap on this weathered mosaic wall. Thanks Dagostino Building Blocks, Inc. for going to extra mile. The customer added in a front walkway, we leveled the existing stoop, poured a back sidewalk and grill pad (already in use). Thrilled with how the project turned out!
A nice drain we installed yesterday. It’ll stop the hillside from erosion.
What a great day! Finished up this awesome patio for some friends in Niskayuna/Latham area. Striped out a ton of lawns and had our friends at ALLEN Roofing & SHEET Metal replace the roof at our offices. We highly recommend them. Happy to say we won’t have a leak anymore!
