Mendon Foundation fan Judy Allen Foster has just finished creating a new book called A Moment in Time: A Reflection of 2020. Her book totals 84 pages, full of color photography and inspirational quotes and thoughts. Over 90% of the photos were taken on the Lehigh Valley Trail, and all but one were taken within a 50-mile radius of Rush. To purchase A Moment in Time, email Judy at [email protected], or reach out to her on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/judy.a.foster...) https://mendonfoundation.org/new-book-from-judy-foster-fea/

Our new website, we’ve just expanded our section dedicated to the Lehigh Valley Trail BEFORE it was the Trail. You know, back when it was the Lehigh Valley Railroad, and then Conrail. :) As of today, there are 103 historical photos we are sharing that show the old days. They will give you an incredible perspective on the places where you like to walk, run, hike, and bike today.... https://mendonfoundation.org/along-the-lehigh-valley/ Have a look, and please support us if you use the Trail! Thank you in particular to Mark Skipworth and the Honeoye Falls - Town of Mendon Historical Society for getting these photos together!

Longtime Mendon Foundation fan and volunteer Mark Skipworth has graciously agreed to work with some pre-eminent Lehigh Valley Railroad photographers, allowing us to share some of their remarkable photographs with us. These images can be seen on a new section of our site, called Along The Lehigh Valley. Each of these photographs is from a location along what is, today, the Lehigh Valley Trail. Our hope is that these photographs will give you an appreciation for what key locati...ons along our trail looked like, decades ago. Thanks go not just to Mark, but also to photographers Paul Templeton, Jim Crosby, John Marshall, Rick Rubino, and Ron Amberger, all who have graciously agreed to have their images included in the collection. Please check back often, as we will be adding photos on a regular basis; the newest additions will always be at the top!

Count the rings of The Old Oak! We gave it a shot, and it looks like it's just a little over 200 years old. High Resolution download (~52MB) downloadable here: https://drive.google.com//1sgJabUItS1HcP2GCrNiCAda3M/view

Folks. Taking parts of the tree is not cool. It belongs to the Mendon Foundation, for the benefit of the community. We have plans for this wood, to craft objects that will be used for the community's benefit.... Please put it back, so that the community can get what it richly deserves.
