As we begin preparing for Christmas this Advent, we would like to share our Christmas Mass times early so you can plan accordingly. On Christmas Eve, there will be a 2 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm Mass in the church. There will also be a 4:15 pm Mass in the school gym. On Christmas Day, there will be a Midnight Mass, 7 am, 9 am, 10:30 am, and 12 pm Mass in the church. There will be a bilingual 12:15 pm Mass in the school gym.... For Masses in the church that are not happening during a school gym Mass, we will have priests ready to offer overflow Masses in the school gym if necessary. The Midnight Mass and 9 am Christmas Day Mass will be live streamed on Facebook (facebook.com/notredamenhp/live). The video stays on Facebook as a recording after the live stream. The Christmas Masses will also be posted on Youtube following the live stream (youtube.com/c/notredameparish).

Today is the Feast of the Dedication of St. John Lateran! St. John Lateran is the cathedral church of the Diocese of Rome. The Archbasilica was originally dedicated to Christ the Savior. It was later co-dedicated to St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist. It was built on land donated by Constantine that he had received from the Lateran family. Today is the feast day of St. Nicholas of Myra. St. Nicholas was a fourth-century bishop in Asia Minor. Tradition holds that he would secretly leave gold in the... home of a poor man to give his daughters the ability to marry, saving them from prostitution. This story led to a tradition of gift-giving on St. Nicholas' feast day, which eventually made him become Santa Claus. St. Nicholas, pray for us!

There will be an All Souls Mass tonight at 7:30 pm in the church. Following Mass, our Election Prayer Vigil will begin. Adoration will be available tonight from 9 pm to 8 am tomorrow morning.

RAIN UPDATE: Due to weather, tonight's All Saints Mass & social will be in the church and school gym. Please bring a mask and follow social distancing directives. There is plenty of room in the gym to spread out and social distance. Mass will be at 7 pm.... Light refreshments, soda, beer, and wine will be provided.

This Friday is our outdoor All Saints Party! We will have Mass at the grotto at 7 pm followed by a social on the convent lawn (firepits available). Wine, beer, soda, and light food refreshments will be provided. Hand sanitizer will also be available.... In the event of rain, Mass will be in the church and the social in the school gym.
