I just need to take this time to CLAP for ALL STAFF at PROVIDENCE REST for doing all that you do. I know this was/is an extremely hard time for everyone. Please... continue to stay safe and stay strong. Just wanted to say that I tried extremely hard to get PR the PPE that you guys needed, I also know that I was a little annoyed at what was not going on, but I’m here to say THANK YOU!!! Morning all, please make sure you are checking our website Providencerest.org for daily updates on our current COVID-19 status. Here is part of today's update: -NYSDOH has directed that "no resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the Nursing Home based solely on a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19"

Its a time for all of us to come together (while maintaining social distance) and put an end to this! Do your part and stop the spread. Stay home and stay safe. Most importantly DON'T LOSE HOPE.

We will also occasionally post them here- March 24th Daily Update: - "Huddle" was conducted yesterday with residents and staff via our facility CCTV station to answer questions and address concerns. We will continue to conduct these "huddles" 2 times a week... - Staffing levels remain normal - As of this morning, 86 video calls between residents and their loved ones have been completed. -PPE training has been conducted for all staff. Daily reviews of PPE levels/requisitions are being conducted as well. No problems thus far.
