Susan C. Lindamer, 78, passed away on Saturday April 17, 2021 at home following a lengthy illness. Born August 29, 1942 in Olean she was the daughter of Francis and Norma Riggs Gabler. Sue was a graduate of the Olean High School class of 1960. Sue attended Geneseo State University, St. Bonaventure University, and received an Associate Degree in Business from Jamestown Community College. Sue was employed by various Bolivar area businesses including Nicholson’s Flower Shop. Alo...ng with her business partner Sharon Morris, she owned and operated the Lady Bug Boutique in Bolivar for five years. Sue was employed by the Olean Times Herald as the District Manager of the Circulation Department from 1984-2005. Sue attended the Southside Union Chapel in Olean, was a member of the Allegany County Compeer Program where she received the Volunteer of the Year award, was a founding member of the Treasure Chest in Bolivar, actively participated in the bible study at the Bradley House, and opened her home to foster displaced teens. She was also an avid reader, and crafter, and Buffalo Bills Fan, and was very strong in her faith. Above all Sue was a loving mother and grandmother, and loved her cats. Along with her former husband Richard C. Lindamer, Sue is surivived by five children: Dr. Laurie Lindamer PhD, Cardiff by the Sea, CA; Christine (Kevin) Morsman, Bolivar; Susan (Timothy) Witter, Caledonia; Richard (Lisa) Lindamer, Lewiston; and Sarah Crump, Bolivar; 15 grandchildren: Emma, Abigail, Jessika, Alicia, Kevin, Anna, Elizabeth, Rachael, Molly, Tucker, Lexi, Sophie, Jonah, Lydia, and Micah; and four great-grandchildren. Sue is also survived by former son-in-law Benjamin Crump, Bolivar; two brothers Daniel (Rochelle) Gabler, Olean; William Gabler, Wellsville; and beloved caregiver Justine Dodaro. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Gabler. Visitation will be held at the Schaffner Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 21st from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 22st at the Bolivar United Methodist Church at 11 AM with Rev. David Herne of the Heritage AFlame Ministries officiating. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery. Ronald Stabley, 80, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, after an illness. Ron was born on July 1, 1940, in Williamsport, PA to Leslie and Minnie Olson Stabley. In 1976, he married the former Linda Fowler in Bolivar, who survives. He was a graduate of Williamsport High School and Mansfield University. He had been employed as a Biology and Chemistry Teacher at Bolivar Central School for 32 years. For a short period of time he owned... a sub shop in Olean, New York and for a short time in Alfred, New York with partners. After retiring from teaching he moved to State College, PA where he worked at Shaner Hotels where he inspected hotels for about ten years before settling down in retirement and followed the PSU wrestling team. Ron enjoyed carving wooden decoys and took first place with a carving of a Canadian Goose in a Wellsville Art School Contest. He was on the second-place team in the One Fly Man Fly Fishing Tournament. He also took first place in the Pine Creek Canoe Race and sang with a Barbershop Quartet for a period of time. For many summers he painted houses with a group of teachers. He also was active in coaching track, wrestling, and cross country at Bolivar Central School. Ron loved his beloved wife Linda until his passing and said God Bless to all of those that touched his life. He loved the small town of Bolivar where he lived and worked for over 30 years. He was a social member of the Bolivar American Legion Post 772 where he cooked Sunday Breakfast for a while. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda, daughter Kim Conde, and step-daughter Kris R. Dibble, along with eight grandchildren Devin, Connor, Bella, Abby, Joe, Justin, Rochelle, and Benjamin, his brother Wayne Stabley, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Barbara Canfield and a step-son Ricky Wareham. Graveside services will be held in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Bolivar at a date and time to be announced.

Lawrence W. Larry Rossman, 95, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2021 at Jones Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Surviving are a son, a daughter, seven grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Larry is also survived by a brother and several nieces and nephews.... Sue Ann Ahl, 56, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday December 26, 2020. In addition to her husband Sean, Sue is survived by her three children, Heather (Chris) Snyder, Bolivar; Nick (Jamie) Snyder, Philadelphia PA; and Tomiko (Marty) Peterson, Bolivar; three grandchildren, Hannah Wiatrowski, Calyn Todd, and James Peterson. Richard H. Monroe, 91, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Wellsville Manor Care Center following a lengthy illness. Among Dick’s most notable projects are a mural in the former Twin Towers building in New York City, the Mickey Mouse logo on Disney’s first cruise ship, and a portrait of Cpl. Jason Dunham for the USS Jason Dunham which was commissioned by the US Navy. Dick’s talent is also on full display locally at Kenyon Andrus Post 772 American Legion where he did... many portraits of area veterans, along with several industrial paintings of bridges and towers.
