Are you looking for an easy recipe that can be enjoyed by infants and toddlers? This easy recipe can be enjoyed by babies following baby led weaning, and also b...y babies working on learning new textures. For baby led weaning I recommend cutting it into strips. For babies learning new textures like mine, you can serve small pieces. Do what you feel comfortable with! This recipe is great for toddlers too! If your making it for a toddler, older child, or yourself, you can add a sweetener such as 1-2 Tbsp of maple syrup or honey. However, for babies I recommend leaving out added sugar. Enjoy it on it’s own or topped with plain yogurt! Also, if you haven’t read my e-book first tastes: everything you need to know about starting solids, get it now! https://lnznutrition.com/e-book/ See more

With the big storm coming, we thought a few shoveling tips would be helpful! Be safe everyone! Do’s: -Stretch first! (See the lower back video on our page for great stretches to do before heading outside) -Lift with your legs... -Move small amounts of snow at a time -Bend your knees -Breathe! -Take breaks and listen to your body! Don’t: -Twist to throw snow to the side (as shown in picture) Instead turn your body and move snow to desired location in line with your torso. -Don’t Overexert yourself! Cold temperatures and high exertion is dangerous! Dress appropriately if you’re going to be outside for a while -Do not shovel snow if you have an acute injury - ask for help! #pt #portwashington #snow #safety #safetyfirst #pw #stretchingexercises #longisland #shoveling
