UPDATE: COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County October 26, 2020 The Saratoga County Department of Public Health Services today confirmed the deaths of two m...ore county residents from COVID-19 an 81-year-old male from Wilton and a 71-year-old male from Clifton Park. These are the first COVID-19 deaths reported by the County since June 6 and bring the County’s total death count to 19. Low-risk exposure in Clifton Park Saratoga County Public Health Services and its team of contact tracers have determined a low-risk exposure at the Rusty Nail, located at 1781 Route 9 in Clifton Park. The employees who tested positive were wearing masks at all times, and these exposures are considered to be low risk. Multiple employees tested positive for COVID-19 and worked on: Saturday, October 17 from 4:30 p.m. 1:30 a.m. Sunday, October 18 from 7:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Monday, October 19 from 7:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21 from 7:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22 from 7:00 a.m. 1:30 a.m. Friday, October 23 from 7:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Anyone who visited this location during the dates and times listed should self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and contact their health care provider to get a diagnostic test. Additionally, anyone can get a diagnostic test at the test sites listed here. Halloween Guidance Many traditional Halloween activities can be a high risk for spreading viruses. There are several safer, alternative ways to participate in Halloween. If you have COVID-19 or may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, you should not participate in in-person Halloween festivities and should not give out candy to trick-or-treaters. Anyone who visited these locations during the dates and times listed should self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and contact their health care provider to get a diagnostic test. Additionally, anyone can get a diagnostic test at the test sites listed here. Clifton Common in Clifton Park A person that tested positive for COVID-19 was playing basketball at Clifton Common in Clifton Park and was not wearing a mask. The individual was participating in a game with people they did not know. The exposure occurred: Saturday, October 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is considered a high-risk COVID-19 exposure. The high-risk exposure as described above was completely avoidable. We are appealing to the residents of Saratoga County to help us stop the spread of COVID-19. Individual actions have consequences; please be responsible! Fairways of Halfmoon Pro Shop in Halfmoon An employee working at the Fairways of Halfmoon Pro Shop, located at 17 Johnson Road in Halfmoon, tested positive for COVID-19 and worked on: Wednesday, October 7 from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The employee who tested positive was wearing a mask at all times, and we consider this a low-risk exposure.

During each of these instances, the employees who tested positive were wearing masks at all times, and we consider these exposures to be low risk.... Anyone who visited these locations during the dates and times listed should self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and contact their health care provider to get a diagnostic test. Additionally, anyone can get a diagnostic test at the test sites listed here. Saratoga County Treasurer’s Office An employee working at the Saratoga County Treasurer’s Office, located at 40 McMaster Street, Ballston Spa, tested positive for COVID-19, and worked on: Monday, October 5, from 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Out of an abundance of caution, the Saratoga County Treasurer’s Office will be closed to the public until Wednesday, October 21, 2020. During that time, the office will be conducting business via mail, a physical dropbox and essential appointments only. These temporary operational changes are consistent with emergency plans developed at the start of the pandemic and were continuously updated to protect the public and our employees. Details are available on the Treasurer's website. 550 Waterfront in Saratoga Springs An employee working at 550 Waterfront, located at 550 Union Avenue, Saratoga Springs, tested positive for COVID-19, and worked on: Monday, October 5, from 3:45 p.m. 8:30 p.m. The Rusty Nail Grill & Tavern in Clifton Park An employee working at The Rusty Nail Grill & Tavern, located at 1781 Route 9, Clifton Park, tested positive for COVID-19, and worked on: Sunday, October 4, from 5:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. Pasta Pane in Clifton Park An employee working at Pasta Pane, located at 18 Park Avenue, Clifton Park, tested positive for COVID-19, and worked on: Sunday, September 27, from 3:30 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Thursday October 1, from 3:30 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Stay vigilant Saratoga County Public Health Services would like to remind the community that COVID-19 is still in the community and spikes in cases will at times occur. This is no time to let our guard down, but we should heighten our vigilance.
